Categories for UAE Golden Visa

Below listed are the categories who are eligible to apply for a 5/10 year Golden Visa in UAE:

Professionals: Professionals who have a valid employment contract in the UAE and with designations that fall under the occupation category 1 or 2 as per the norms of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation. Furthermore, these applicants must attest to a bachelor's degree and should have a salary not less than AED 30,000 per month.

Real estate investors: Investors who own a property (either completed or off-plan properties listed under the list of approved local real estate companies) in UAE worth AED 2 million (or more) can apply for a Golden Visa under the real estate category. Additionally, if it's a mortgage, individuals must pay at least AED 2 million.

Outstanding students: High school and university students can also apply for a UAE Golden Visa for 5 years and 10 years, respectively. An individual who is a high school student and a national-level topper with a grade of at least 95 % in a public or private school can be granted a 5 year Golden Visa. This visa will not require a sponsor but a submission of LOR from the Ministry of Education (Emirates Schools Establishment). Additionally, outstanding students studying in universities listed as either A or B class by the Ministry of Education in the UAE can also avail of a visa provided that they submit a LOR/accredited graduation certificate/accredited academic transcript with a cumulative GPA. Note that the GPA must not be less than 3.5 ( A Class universities) and 3.8 (B Class universities).

  • NOC Letter from the employer
  • Attested University Degree
  • Salary certificate from employer
  • Labour Contract
  • Passport's copy
  • Bank statements (of the last 6 months)
  • A copy of the residence visa
  • Passport-size photo (with white background)
Real Estate investors:
  • Title Deed with the property's value of at least AED 2 Million
  • A valid passport copy
  • Emirates ID
  • A passport-sized photograph
  • Valid health insurance
